I'm shooting in really low light and have been trying to figure which setting is best, I want to aviod the flash because of how unnatural it makes them look. Any tips?

Natural light looks best unless fill flash could make it look better.

A low level of fill light allowing background and other faces to remain illuminated would have still worked if just a small amout of fill light would have been used.

Fill light can be reflector also so i think you are limiting your thinking by saying flash is your only source of fill light.
