Ixus 860 video import problem

I have a Canon IXUS 860. I took a video on it. I can view the video on the camera but when I import it to my computer it shows as 0 kb and an error saying that it's an unrecognisable format (although it's in .avi).

Any ideas how I can get it off my camera and make it work? It's a 15 minute video and I rather foolishly (:rolleyes: at self) promised a copy to a few people.

Are you connecting the camera to the computer or are you taking teh SD card out and using a card reader?

If the latter, might it be that your SD card reader cannot read SDHC cards? Try it directly via the camera.
