Now that canon nhave released the 350D (rebelXT) at £749 in UK - jessops website - with the 10D at £899 and the 20D available for £940 @7dayshop
Is it a no brainer for the 20D here
or is the 10D with a full sensor the better camera
edit: Thanks for pointing out the 10D has the same sensor size as 20D

thanks "booggerg" I have had a look at a few sites steves reviews ( missed the sensor size in specs there ) and jessops (which had it as a full sensor) - but I perhaps should have been clearer - those who have used the camera for real - the 10D and 20D - and a few posters have said they have both - what they thought in real life...

Etef,
Traded my 10D in for a 20D last August,.
Some of the differences in the two cameras are dramatic.
Speed and timings make up the most significant improvements,. vastly improved over the 10D.
Autofocus and tracking are improved as well and go a long way to making the 20D a worthwhile upgrade.
The least important upgrade IMHO is the jump from 6Mp to 8Mp... though there is an difference,. I find it not as significant as the overall usability upgrades that the 20D has.
If the price differnce is not too substantial,. I would definately get a 20D

as its only another £50 - from 10D to 20D - I think I'll see what the 350D does to prices, over the next few weeks

350 may not hit the streets fro a month or more... so you may have to wait longer than you expect for it to impact prices.

For what it is worth Techstore.com are showing 350D body at £636 (including VAT)
http://www.techstore.co.uk/detail_43979.html
or £653 for body plus 18-55 mm lens.
I have no experience of buying from Techstore.
Pixmania are also showing 350D body only at £609 including VAT(I believe product will be EU sourced from France?).
These prices perhaps make for slightly different comparison?
