took some pictures for a friend of mine. the boys wanted nothing to do with it. the older one just wanted pics with his star wars light saber thingy and the little one screamed everytime his mom sat him down infront of my makeshift backdrop. i ended up following hte little own around the house as he played and the older one well i got a few decent shots as he clowned around.

anyways here are a few just wanting some c&c. did i waste my time. is there antyhing i can do to make them better. i have others i can post. a couple black and white that turned out ok i think...

sorry two more i just had too. i tired to black out the background in the one cause it was full of bright toys...i dont' think i did that great of a job. i have trouble with masking and stuff. not sure exactly what i should do to isolate the background.

I think these are all really nice....especially considering what you had to deal with!

Yep, I agree with everyone else here. The pictures look great. I think their uncooperativeness may have been a gift in disguise; your pictures look more natural as a result.

I really like them, I am sure the parents will be thrilled. My favorites are the b&w ones. I have so much trouble taking photos of my kids for the same reasons, I am impressed with how many keepers you actually got.

AHHH....boys will be boys...lol... I have a bribe jar, usually only works for bigger kids... and of course I always take a few shots of toys that they would like in the picture... all you have to learn to do is think like a 5 year old then negotiate like a mom with 5 kids... LOL...

but all in all you did fantastic... they are all keepers, my favorite is the first one from the little tike and the last b&w from the older one (that one is plain outstanding).
I'm sure mom will be very pleased with these.

OH and be proud, because at this age your lucky to get little critters like this blur free!

thanks and trust me we threw out many bribes. haha. he wouldn't cooperate right from the start. he only wanted starwars pics with a black background and was almost in tears about it before we even got started. i had him take a few with his light saber to start off. with the promise of more later. i think i should of had a few small things for him and given it to him periodically for good behaviour. the biggest issue i think was that he knows me really well. and we usually joke around together. his mom said he would of behaved better if it as someone he didnt know.

anyways thanks for the comments i like that b&W one too.

here are two starwars one...gotta keep the kids happy...
