I am going to make some frames well attempt to, I am a little worried I will not be able to get the miter joints perfect. [Any tips would be great!]. Well I was wondering how do you mount the photo to keep it from becoming wavy in the frame, I have to professionally mounted photos but I do not want to take them apart to see how they did it because I do not want to cut the dust cover. Can anyone give me an overview of what is needed to frame a photograph or do you know of any websites that have a good how to guide.

Thanks,
Ryan

There are a number of good books available on framing techniques. Your local community college might even offer a course in framing and matting...that is a real easy way to learn the process...and get some hands on with the proper tools. Nice thing about taking the class is you typically get the opportunity to see more than one brand of equipment, giving you some actual hands on time to decide if you want to get into it and which stuff works the best.
