Ok My Assignment was to have something that says Change or New Beginning in Vegas. It had to be black and white with a landscape orientation.
Here is what i came up with. I dunno if i like it or not, we will see if my editor does.
was trying to achieve the dawn of a new day type shot with teh construction and what not

Jai-
I kind of like the first one. It is very unusual. I think this could be improved with a little less brightness. Perhaps lower the contrast, reshoot with a filter, or use HDR. The sun is important for the morning effect, but I think you are losing a lot of texture in the sky.
Very creative.

Amazing Pics Turbodude.. however, i've got one question..
On picture No.2, those lights in the light-polls, how do you get those effects, cause everytime i try that like at 20secs exposure, or even less, I get like a difused light coming out of the light subject.. like a ghostly colored smoke.
So how do you get that "Star" shape from lights :O!?

The first one is great. It depicts what you were talking of.

the size of your apeture dictates the star burst effect, so crank up the Av to f14 or higher

Good to know! Have been meaning to play around with some longer exposures, and would like to have the starburst effect for what i'm planning...
