this one i shot for photofriday.com - "obsession" was this friday's them.

I'm a photographer seriously trying to get better. So please post a comment with your thoughts on the image; good or bad. I use both to help me build my photography skills. So that old saying "If you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all." Does NOT apply here. If you think the image is crap let me know.

Welcome to the form, nice shots. I really like the first one. What do you get when you cross a dog and a duck?

Second one is the best. Maybe more cord visible though.
Number 4 is cool too; disorienting.

I'd vote for number three, but IMO the railing ruins it. Not your fault, of course. I like the light bulb for reasons I'm still trying to figure out, and I think the pup is a good shot. I don't like Michael Moore so you can deep six him for me.

Hi Greg, and welcome to the forum.
No.1 - I like as long as he's only breaking ice.
Nos. 2, 3 & 4 - are far too serious for me to comment on.
No. 5 - I like, but I can't comment on the reasons because it would have a political bias.

:p Ah, to hell with it, I just love seeing politicians shown up for what they are. Bush, Blair, Chirac, Schroeder, Putin, Jintao et al.
Political satire will never die.
Bring back "Spitting Image"

Maybe it's time for bed ? :o

i used mr. moore because as of late only time i see him or on a book in our book store its always about the gov. so it fits into "obsession" theme pretty well i think..

thanks for all the thoughts on the pictures.. ill post some more if you all would like to critique them.

Greg, by all means post some more.

However, a bit of advice, I find that you get a better critique if you post one image rather than several.

On my way to bed, I think.......soon.
