My sister had her daughter a few weeks ago. 7.0lbs flat.

Last week, she finally opened her eyes.

Since she was over the house yesterday with my grandmother, i snapped a few pics.

I really dont mean to be rude, so please dont take this the wrong way, But Babies dont open their eyes like puppies do. They are born able to do so. Sorry i just found that comment odd.

But adorable little girl none the less!

Some babies like my first born, came out with his eyes wide open and it was a fight to get him to close long enough for a catnap. Others, like my second born, would rather just sleep for the first month or two and actually seeing there eyes is a rare event.

It took a week for her to open her eyes as wide as they are now. As is the case with a few other babies i know of.
