I usually shoot portraits, kids and weddings, but from time to time I get a chance to shoot basketball and I love to catch the action in a game. Here's a few from a game between two swedish U18-teams. C&C welcome. :)

Great shots, but a faster shutter speed would've helped the last few.

Nice shots. Did you pp your white balance or did you set custom wb before taking pics?

Bollan, svensk kanske...? ;)
For these shots I used my 40D camera and the 85 1.8 lens. I usually like to use my 5D, but for this game I wanted to try the 40D.
Regarding shutter speed, I actually like it when part of the image has motion blur as I think it shows the action better. For these I was shooting at ISO 1600, 1/320 sec and F 2.0 with available light. The camera was set to auto white balance. I made an action in photoshop that I ran the shots throught, including levels, curves, contrast, exposure and saturation. They have also been through neat image for noise reduction.

Thanks for all your comments!
Yes, the light is ok here. There are windows in each corner of the court and this was a daytime game, so I had "extra" light from the windows.

Here's a shot with one of the windows in the background. This is not a good shot, I know, it's just to give you an idea what the conditions were like.
