Hi everyone,
I have just bought a Canon A40 as a Christmas present for myself (Cant rely on Santa these days) hehe..
As its for Christmas ive got my father to check it over to make sure its working for me as I dont really want to play around with it as that will give me something to do over Christmas, so far he has taken some shots on it & all seems ok, however the macro shots are proving a problem.
Apparently he has set it on Macro & when he presses the shutter button halfway both lights near the viewfinder start flashing away & the camera beeps all over the place, the beeping sound then gets faster!
He took the shot anyway but its just a blur, the camera wasnt too close to the subject (a stood up video tape) & we cant work out why its making all these sounds, also another thing, while the 2 lights are flashing he said the little light in the flash was flashing on & off as well, I think thats the assist light?
Any ideas as to what we are doing wrong? it might be something simple as we only got it this morning but I thought someone might know the answer to save time.
Thanks!
:-)
