Hi everyone, I just got asked to do some portraits for my friend's housekeeper and her boyfriend, but I haven't done any shots like this before - just "senior" type pix, so I don't know what to do for posing or anything like that. They want color/BW and like a happy upbeat style I think, but ANY help will be appreciated. Please post your ideas and pictures if possible. Thanks so much everybody

Rather than to ask people to just post pics and ideas for you, you need to look back through the many hundreds of fantastic senior portrait pictures that have been posted in these threads.
Ive found that people are much more likley to comment on someone who has tried, then posted the result, and asked for comment - than someone who just wants answers.
regards, Mark

I imagine your shoot has already occurred, but if it hasn't, here's a link to a boy/girl gallery. These were mostly just-for-fun shots, (and yes, this is my daughter), thus they're all up, rather than a select few.

A few hints:
Make it fun for your subjects! Get them to talk about themselves, each other, anything to get them talking and laughing.
Keep it light. I've found when shooting teenagers, it's best not to take yourself too seriously. The best shots I've taken have been of genuine laughter and amusement.
Have fun yourself. Your passion for your photography will shine through.
