what do u think of the A85?

I was thinking of geting one and just wondering if its reputation is worth it?

Hi,
got one recently to replace an aged olympus , does what it says on the box , good picture quality and all the functions of my SLR , got it at a fair uk price as well also real easy to use thoug I haven't expolored all teh digi functions yet
Sure there is something "better" just around the corner but you makes your informed choice.......

In many consummer magazines I've read, the canon powershot A cameras (A75, A85, A95 ) are often considered the best in their category. Of course there are better cameras, but you don't necesairly need the options that makes them better (ex : more megapixels, more shooting speed, more powerful zooms, etc).


For someone starting in photography, the A85 or A95 (I've got the A95) are probably the best you can get if you don't want to spend too much. They are great cameras which provide high quality pictures :)
