How many of you wedding shooters use a splash intro page to give your visitors the option of going to your flash or html site?
I've always been a little leary of having just a flash site for a couple reasons. One, flash isn't search engine friendly, and two, they can be slow to load hfor visitors on dial-up connections.
What are your thoughts on using this "option"?

Interesting... I have had my flash site (from Photobiz) for some time and haven't considered an HTML site. Wonder if I should? Hmmm...

I would recommend going with a full HTML first page.....then have a slideshow that can be launched full screen from this if you want to 'wow' people.
All the search robots can 'see' is HTML: they cant browse your flash content so from an SEO point of view it's completely useless.
It's always a big dilemma with websites: flash looks fantastic but to get found on the net you need HTML content.

Hi Sam,
Just had a quick look at your site: it's exactly what I was talking about! Nice flash....but if you look at the source code there's almost ZERO content for the spiders to browse.
You should at least sort out your titles, description, and meta tags to get a bit of SEO going.
