Thanks, folks. She's very hard to get a good shot of when she's awake -- I'd forgotten how active kids are at that age!!

Nice, clear, sharp, shot. She almost doesn't look real, like a porcelain doll.
On a side not, the shot looks a little yellow on my screen.

On a side not, the shot looks a little yellow on my screen. It does look that way, and for the life of me I can't figure out how to lose that color cast. If there is one PP skill I just don't have, that's the one. Anybody got a tutorial?

On this one it's easy - do an image/adjust/auto levels.
Doesn't always go quite that quick.

Aha! Okay... minus the yellow cast -- is this better?

That looks a bit pinkish. This is what I got from an autolevels...

That looks a bit pinkish. This is what I got from an autolevels...I may actually like the pinkish a bit better. But it'll all come down in the end to the important question: what does her mama like? Thanks!

As always...there's "right" and then there's "what sells".
(not that what I posted is "right" - I don't have the sleeping beauty here to judge colors...)

I selected the red channel in curves and brought it down a bit.

I selected the red channel in curves and brought it down a bit. Ooooh... I like that. Egads, there is so much to Photoshop I may never learn (and, more, never remember when I need it!). Thanks!

beautiful.... :) I think the last edit by Q-bert is the best. :)

Glad to be of service. I've learned volumes here myself.

Well done you have pulled off a great closeup shot.:) However I must agree with Kristy and I think Q-bert's edit is the best as it doesn't have the colour casts of the others.
