Book on Canon Speedlite System?

I am saving up to buy either the 430EX II or 580EX II (leaning towards the 580EX II) for my Canon XSi camera.

I found a book entitled "Canon Speedlite System Digital Field Guide" but it is for the older 580EX and 430EX Speedlites. Is there a new book for the II version of these flashes? I am sure there is enough information for me to learn most everything about these flashes, but obviously there are a few new features in each flash that would not be covered in that book. Or should I go ahead and buy that book?

These things ain't complicated. I find the manual more than "book" enough on how to use them. I'd not buy the book, but use that money for buying the speedlite itself. If you can't figure it out from the manual and from trying the darn thing in your hand, then I can't imagine reading something else will be helpful.
