these are some shots i got a couple weeks ago in china...it is the mutianyu section of the wall...the weather wasn't the best so i ended up shooting 3 exposures for each shot to bring everything out better...kinda new to landscapes, and this was my first real attempt with my 10-20

thanks for looking

Great series. Wouldn't mind seeing them larger!

the perfect definition of HDR. Nicely done, and I love the angles and compositions.

Awesome experience I bet.

thanks, i just wanted to make sure i could get the hills in the distance, as they weren't coming out with just one exposure

here they are on my flickr account http://flickr.com/photos/algregoire/sets/72157609608068054/ i originally had the larger files, but on my monitor you couldn't see the entire picture in there, so i thought these would work better

thanks, i may have too much saturation on some, but i like them
Awesome experience I bet.

Where is the Mutianyu area? I visited the section closest to Beijing. It was swarming with tourists. It must have been great to have been there with almost no one else around.

i'm guessing you went to the badaling section?...i had heard it was touristy and for that reason chose to go to mutianyu...it's about the same distance away, only it's north east of beijing, and badaling is north west...apparently badaling is the nicest restored section...i wish i could gone to more than one section, but i was only in beijing for just a few days
