Hey I am new to the forums and have always loved how a lot of the HDR pics I see come out so I decided to give it a whirl. There's no real relativity between all the pics they are just random ones taken around the house and backyard.

These came out OK, but I like the canoe one the best. You might try shooting some stone buildings or architecture though, stone and steel seems to be made for HDR.

Welcome to the forum Scott. I agree with Canonloader on the stone and steel also and I'm a
noob to HDR and been trying all sorts of stuff. What sort of processing did you do or programs? Have you tried Photomatix?

I used a cracked version of photomatix and used a single jpeg to make all these pictures. I adjusted the exposure from -3 to +3 in photoshop cs2 and then created the photos with photomatix and tone mapped them all. I agree, stone does look great in HDR.

Welcome. I like #3 best no so much for subject but HDR effect.

I agree on #3. How did the original neutral look?
