Gorgeous! I think I would do a curves adjustment and maybe dodge the highlights in his eyes to bring them out some.

gorgeous shot - and if you have him further away from the background sheet next time you'll probably eliminate those wrinkle and texture.

I've never been one to really shoot portraits so he's opening a whole new world of photography for me. thanks for the suggestions, I'm sure I'll have more shoots to experiment and try everything out.
