Been playing with this idea (although probably done many times before!) I liked the effect. Shot of my son framed in passenger mirror of my car.

I've seen a couple cool car mirror shots. Yours is very well done, but it might have been better if it was the left door so that text wasn't in the shot.

It is a good shot. I agree about the text though.

I've often thought about shots like these involving mirror angles, and this just shows how well it works! A great shot :)

Nice shot, agree about the text, but I don't know how well the left mirror would work. You can alwasy clone out the text, shouldn't be to hard.

Thanks for the positive comments... I'm actually ok with the "objects in mirror are closer than they seem" text as this is a novelty shot and pretty clearly a car mirror. Also a bit of a double entendre perhaps - although the 9 year old son may seem distant at times (boy is he sometimes, growing up fast!) but he is really closer (emotionally) than it seems...

nice capture! Like your reasoning for leaving in the text as well.

That shot worked pretty well in Jurassic Park, too. :)
