I need help with lighting.I know its not in sharp focus, thats how I wanted it to be.

I think you need a warm reflector in front of the rose to bounce some of that backlight back on the front of the flower. The subject seems too dark.

Yup- a gold reflector, or even a bit of white paper underneath it. I'm not sure your soft focus effect really worked that well- maybe work on that a bit too. It just looks out of focus, not intentionally soft- you know what I mean?

The subject is very central (google "photography rule of thirds" if you're not already familiar), there are no lead in lines which leaves it looking rather 2D, your claim to fame is decidedly distracting, the "softness" leaves little detail to look at without producing a dreamy or gentle effect. You've also got some very high contrasts which clash with any gentleness you might have wanted: the rear lighting is simply too extreme. I'd also suggest you try a wider aperture when you want a softer image. Regards, Tony
