Hiya - they are all competent shots & I'm sure your friend is or will be happy with them. The lighting, focus and exposure are all good.

For improvement points:

I'm not a massive fan of high-key shots, but I think #1 could be improved with just a touch darker tones. Also neither lady nor child have a really winning expression.

The kid in #2 has a great expression - unfortunately the two adults faces are less endearing! If this was one of a series then you could overlay replacement faces or simply crop the adults out of the shot.

#3 I personally think this lady does not look her best photographed from the side - her profile is almost triangular on this shot. Perhaps a cheek-cheek shot with the child could have worked? The child looks fairly angelic there although potentially edging towards bored.

Hope the comments help!

I actually like the high key effect to this series. However I have to agree with Phil that the side profile shots are a problem. I think its that trendy hairstyle that over-emphasises that triangular look. I for one will be glad when that style goes away.

lol. I thought the same thing with these photo's and there posses but I let them pick the photo's they liked and wanted me to edit and they loved these. I still can't figure out why since they had others i thought were way better when it came to posses. Anyways thanks for everyone's help and advice.
