I have an indoor MX facility behind my house and I've been shooting there the last two weekends. Lighting is as expected pretty bad and the haze created by the bike exhaust is another issue. I feel Im getting a little better at getting the best shots I can but Im looking for a little guidance on achieving more accurate exposure without having to PP.
Can you offer some tips based on these selected images? I've been shooting manual with a Speedlight 430EX set to M at about 1/8 power.
I know these shots aren't very exciting but Im really just trying to get a grasp on proper exposure at this point. Im a NEWB as you can see.
Thanks in advance.

There's some "ghosting" double exposure in the images shot with the shutter speed at 1/60 (as shown in the images' EXIF data). That's slow enough to let in enough ambient light to show two exposures - a strong one for the main image and the "ghost" from the ambient. The images at 1/100 and 1/125 avoided the ghosting.
