Best Focal Length on Canon 28-105MM

Is there a best focal length to use on this lens to achieve the best sharpness out of the lens?

If I had to guess, I'd say that medium to long (say, 50-80 mm) would be its best range. I've got many photos in that range from mine, though they are on 4X6 inch prints.
