I'm looking for a cheap (less than $100) manual focus wide angle lens. I'd like for it to be 21mm or wider (preferably wider). I'm looking to use this for a remote camera, ability to focus to infinity is not required.

Only requirement is that the glass is scratch free.

What mount does it need to be, Canon, Nikon, Pentax?

I have a Canon 22-55 AF lens which I will sell for $75.

Why not just an old 18-55 kit lens at 18mm? Turn the switch to MF and you have your cheap MF wide lens :)

unfortunately I have never seen a wide prime, even MF, go for cheap.

Yeah, I'm beginning to realize that. Pretty sure I'll be buying another kit lens. I wish I wouldn't have sold my last one, it was a great copy.

Kind of, but I don't need the IS version. I'm thinking I'll just break down and get a 17-40 eventually.

Have a look at Tokina 19-35mm f/3.5-4.5 lens.
They go on ebay for about £75-£90, that's $120-150. Read some good reviews and consider buying it soon.:)

I have a EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 Lens for sale, that I dont use any more. Actually it came as a part of XTi kit, but soon after I got my 17-55, so this 18-55 is just kept packed in a very good mint condition. Hardly used.

Let me know in case you are interested.

Thanks Deepak, I actually have something in the works, but I'll let you know if it falls through.
