In #1 I used a large softbox close to her face (a few feet away), then I did a little bit of high-key post processing :)

I like the glimmer in the eyes better in the top photo. The bottom one has a better comp.

I just remembered ,
a few years ago friends in Russia sent me beautiful cards to celebrate International Women's Day. it really nice of them.
not easy for them to purchase things like it.
I was more then a little gobsmacked when I received them

My comment was not directed at the photos, they're fine. Just at the corny 'even more beautiful on the inside' line.
