Some nice shots of the temple. I remember jostling for a good position when I was at the Golden temple last year, unfortunately they wouldn't let me setup my tripod.

Thanks for comments. I visited several locations on my trip, and I think that was the only place where they didn't allow tripods. Not that I had one, but I noticed the signs.
I guess there's too much people, especially school field trip groups, and tripod takes space for about 4 standards Japanese school kids, so that'd make it even more crowded.

I'm looking at both images and they both look like they were taken on a wide angle lens.
Which lenses did you take with you, do you have other images I can see, what did you wish you took?
I'm head to to Kyoto, Tokyo and Osaka in a few weeks and hoping to do quite bit of photography there. Any tips on particular places to go?
