This is Buddy our "child". :) We used one of these on our Christmas card.

My wife said he looks like he is posing for GAP.

For ambient light you will need to bump the ISO up. I had the ISO at 1250. Shutter speed was 1/80 of a second and F of 5. Lighting was simple with one lightbox up high.
