Shot these a couple of weeks ago in Pingvellir National Park in Iceland. Hard to believe the weather that day! Sky is a bit blown out in the sled dog shot unfortunately.

As some might be aware, in late winter, the Iceland sun comes up and stays quite low in the sky throughout the day, leading to a soft light effect whether it's mid day or 4 in the afternoon - erm, as long as the sun's actually out, that is.

Great shots. Really like the one of the dog and sled.

Thanks all. You'll never guess how long it took me to get that dang dog into position! Seriously, sometimes this photography thing is more about luck, than anything else. The dog was actually tethered to a bunch of his friends, but the cord is obscured by the snow. Apparently if you let them of their leashes they'll fight each other to the death!

Both are very nice. The sky in number 1 isn't really a problem, but if you chose to crop it off, the picture is still great because of the dog and sled.
