This lil post just to tell you that I just got myself a Canon 1D.

Wow !!! This toy really rocks !!!

I got it for 1500Eur after negotiation (I live in Belgium)

I got mine for 1850 in dollars which is around 1300 something in Kronor.

Mine should be arriving today!! :) I am expecting quite a difference from my DRebel. I got lucky and struck a deal with a fellow Canadian for a high-actuation copy for $900 CAD plus my beloved 135F2 L!! :(

Well, I'm joining the new baby club soon too. I just ordered a 1DMkII, should be here Wednesday or Thursday. Can't wait. Probably won't get any work done between now and then. I feel like a kid before Xmas.

With the body out of the way, next will be the 135 f/2L. Can't wait.

Got my baby today and I am all smiles right now. Charging the batteries right now and can't wait to shoot test pics. Here are the pictures of the camera I bought...looks like new as shown.

I'm so jealous. The vendor for my mark II called to verify my identity and I missed the shipping window yesterday. My own damn fault. I didn't followup on the call immediately and didn't see it until 5:30. :( Oh well, it should be here tomorrow. :)
