Browing the functions on the A75 has become slow

I've been having this issue for 1 month now. There is a lag when switching between functions in shooting mode on the Canon Powershot A75. Also, when in play mode, the first step of zooming the picture is slow.

Anyone's had similar issues with the A series and what was the fix? I tried resetting the camera, removing the batteries, etc. Still the same problem.

That is probably just the way the a75 works. My a75 shows similar behaviour.

Do you mean that you've had the camera for a month and this has always been the case, or that it just started happening a month ago?

It started one month ago. It wasn't like this before.

Have you re-formatted (in camera) the card recently?
Also, try pulling the batteries to get the camera to reset. Leave them out overnight and see if that helps.
