Nope... didnt manage to catch anyone 'hanging ten' (called 'getting 10' these days by the way ;)) at the Noosa Longboard Festival during last week, but i did n=manage to get a few nice shots, nonetheless.
Getting 5.... this dude (I believe) is the British Longboard champion...

Tandem .... The festival featured a tandem event, and i managed to catch this of one of the pairs in practise. Really bad light that afternoon so an ISO400 made a grainy capture.. they werre also too far away for my flash to 'lift'.

Takeoff... not at the festival, but at a beach break aboiut 20mins south of Noosa. This was a very hard shoot physically as the waves were very fast and powerful... tht I was a goner on one occasion when a set came through that was HUGE and I was well inside the break... but here I am still... tanned and safe :)

Was a great 5 days.. I am really loving this whole surf-photo thing. Also I met soooooo many cool surfers.. pro's and amateiurs alike, all of which loved getting their photos snapped.. in fact, I'm yet to meet a surfer who isnt wrapped to see someone shooting em in the water!! Got heaps of requests for copies of shots....
