Great shots; you must have been really close to the action.

I love the last shot the best. The guy needs driving lessons I think.

excellent photos - you may think that the crash was the end of number 25, but...............................................

Got to like the guy with the video cam in the second to last shot.

great shots, a couple of minor points, picture, 2,3&4 because of the high shutter speed do not look like the are moving at all - the wheels frozen, so you dont get a sense of motion as you do on the 5th picture.
the longest lens you have listed is 105mm, so where you standing on the road - wow -

anyway - just minor points otherwise fantastic shots

I like the action in the first shot and the way the guy is driving by looking through his side window! He's even indicating, but I'm not sure who to at that angle.

Heck, to me it looks like you're on the edge of the road. I would be back a fair bit, and using 300mm. LOL. Too chicken. I'll be at the Rally of NZ on the Saturday and Sunday. Won't make the Friday action. :(

Nice action though. Just what I need, some tips on how to take good shots of moving rally cars, which I've never done before.

"Wazza" form these shots I think the tips I would need is how to move faster than the cars - just to get out the way. I think a 600mm with a 2x converter would be me. :)
"jon.S" how close are you?

What sort of Rally was this by the way, I only ask because not all the cars have navigators in the passenger seat.

I got on quite well using the 50mm f/1.4 at the Wyedean Rally Wyedean Sample Shot (http://gallery.ukmotorsportpics.com/p11780514.html). I can highly recommend that lens for rally work.
