To the Goldfinger tune - to commerate my 2,000 post! Sorry to any songwriters or music lovers!! There is a lot of artistic licence here! :D
Goldmembers, CDS is the one, the one with the biggest clutch,
The biggest clutch.
Marie’s an Oldie Member, takes her shots and goes crazy in PS,
But no BS.
Belmondo’s words will come out oh so clear
And then Scottes total post count will appear.
But Robertwgross has a name that can never rhyme
Not even with RFMSports this time!
PacAce’s pics of owls come from out in the cold
And they’re making Pekka grow old.
And then there’s Stoneylonesome who’s Sandy
And Timmyquest who was banned-y (sorry!)
BallenPhoto, Tom W, cmM are the next guys in line
Scottbergerphoto and Conk aren’t that far behind.
Got a problem with PS, then ask Leighow
And Photosguy will answer now.
Drisleys a man, a man with a golden heart
And Andythaler is German and lives in Stuttgart.
IanD loves his hugs from a beastie with a horn
But not from Jzaun.
Jon is a Goldmember, he’s the one, the with a one syllable name
But Roanjohn’s not the same.
That’s all the Goldmembers, just one more finally
And that’s msvadi!

This makes me *really* wish that I knew the tune to "Goldfinger" so I could sing this.
But then I'd be banned... Good thing for you guys that this forum doesn't support voice messages.

Ha-ha. I can just hear it now. Someone singing an old country and western song with an English accent.
Tom W

:D - I like it!!
BTW, Goldfinger is the theme song to an older James Bond movie of the same title. I don't think it would qualify as Country and Western.

Goldfinger was sung by Shirley Bassey .
not many could sing it quite like her.
http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif don't think I ever heard anyone else sing it

Anyone notice that since, what, four of us crested the 2K mark during a 1 week interval they've changed the naming schemes? I guess we need to go for the 5K(?) "Cream of the Crop" (or should that be "Cream of the X", to preserve CDS' sensibilities?) now!

I thought you'd seen my picture then Marie! :)
She still does shows - last I heard she was in some dispute with her PA.
I used to do Frank Spencer impressions too, and the Goodies! That's what happens when you are the youngest of 8 - do anything to show off! :D

no way Damian
it's not the same thing
I love photography very much. (always did )
don't get me wrong
I was on many community committees for years
treasurer (photography club)
secretary (residence assoc. )
10 years on parish council
etc
not always my own choice
and other occasions thrown into the limelight
when I rather take a back seat
I feel for those who want or have to be in the limelight
as people are fickle and one needs to take everything with a pinch of salt
whatever that meanshttp://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif

'My dad is one of 15, that would have been hard to be seen!'
not sure what you mean by this Damian
could be just your thoughts with your perceptions
I bet if you asked your dad he was completely happy with his own self
he didn't need to be seen

He was actually evacuated during WWII and found he blossomed in Wales. Must have been quite a culture shock.

I was born in Birkenhead. My dad stayed in Wales until he was 18 - then did his national service and got married!
Strangely enough, we recently found out that our house was hit by a bomb during the war. It failed to detonate, but landed in the roof!

Sorry should have been more specific - the house that I am living in now with my wife and kids was hit by a bomb. There used to be an airforce base on the fields behind us during the war - I guess a bomb missed the intended target.
