Hi

I have got a problem with my IXUS 330 and ZoomBrowser EX v3.3 under Windows 2000 SP3.
When i connect the camera to the USB port, the "Event on device" window pops up as usual, but the "registered application" window is empty * http://www.krogh-hansen.dk/eksperten/canon.jpg *
I have spoken with the Danish Canon Helddesk. They know about the problem, and the only solution they have, is to uninstall SP3..

Is there another solution to the problem, than uninstalling SP3?

Yup - I have the same problem!

Poor software design isn't it?

One solution is to check (while camera is connected):
Control Panel -> Scanners and Cameras -> Ixus 330 -> Properties -> Events
-> Uncheck all other programs except ZoomBrowser.

Hope this helps, it worked fine for me.

Windows 2000 SP3 has a problem with camera events. If more than one program is registered than none show up in the selection box when the camera is connected. It is not a Zoombrowser problem.

This is mildly un-related to this, but worth mentioning. I work for a software company and we have noticed that Windows 2000 SP3 actually breaks MANY programs. It has some serious flaws in it. Be careful and check your other programs!
