post pic

i am new to this and sharing pics on the net......i have photoshop and would like to know how to save them so i can post the pics here........i tried and it says i can only post pics that are 100kb....it says my pics are 2.7mb...how do i change it so i retain quality and still be able to post a pic

First resize the photo to max 800 pixels on the longest side. Then from the file menu choose save for web. On the right side You can choose different profiles. I use JPEG medium.
