I can almost live with the second one, I just haven't been a fan of the tonned mapped to death look. If they looked a little more realistic and not so fake they would be much better IMO. ;)

The fourth one of the motorcycle is really nice.

I am not a fan of HDR, period. IMO they create an artificial effect that makes them look more like a painting than a photograph.

I like them. I think they work better for landscape photography. All too often there is too much post processing that makes them look fake (saturation, and halos). I think you captured the vehicles really well.

Actually, the firetruck doesn't look too bad.

I think of all of them, the bike is the best, but the shadows under the bike is distracting

These are better than most I've seen so you're ahead there.

BUT, you've violated two IMAGE POSTING RULES (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=74718):

1. You're allowed 2 attachments by the OP per thread, OR 8 embedded (linked) images, or a combination of both totaling 8. (Maximum 1024 pixels on any side.) You can always just post a link to them, though, or better yet, post a link to a gallery so we don't have to click on each image link.
Some exceptions are "Show Me...", "Post your best...", equipment reviews, Tutorials, etc.
So please fix this & either convert the excess images to links or delete them, or I'll have to do it for you.

2. And, duplicate threads are a form of spam & are not allowed.

Other than that...

I agree with some of the others that the over HDR'd effect doesn't really look good. To me the best HDR's are the one's where I can't really tell its an HDR.

HDR also doesn't seem to work well on cars.....

I think they're awful but that's my personal opinion. The bike and firetruck are ok but I would imagine non hdr versions would be better still.

Last edited by megadima : 9 Minutes Ago at 10:17. You only needed to remove the 2nd two images, OR convert them to links.

Removing all the images is just bad form.
