I got a huge shoot coming up next week. The first Baptist in a neighboring town is having their Christmas play next week. It is an attraction that brings in thousands from both cities.

Through some crazy events, I was chosen to photograph the event. But this is all nerve racking. I dont wanna screw it up. Does anyone have helpful advice to help me along??

Are you willing to shoot low light without flash?..
Than use the 50mm f1.4 USM... It's pretty fast in low light... Use ISO 1000, 1250 or 1600... and shoot above 1/80th of a second...
Also, bring lots of memory cards... shoot as much as possible, and choose the best ones after you get back home.
Flash, traditionally is discouraged at shows...

I got the 50mm 1.4 in preperation for the event. Thanks for conferming my thoughts on that though. I am allowed to use flash at the dress rehersal but not the actual shows of course.

I've photographed in four churches the last couple of months, they all were DARK. So prepare using ISO 1600 and F1.4 or F1.8 lenses to get a nice exposed photo without too long shutter speeds :)
