I bit the bullet and upgraded today. Bought a 20D. Man am I psyched. Cant wait to get into being comfortable with it like I was with my rebel. Looking forward to everything this cam has to offer.

Oh, if you are in the market for a mint 300D, grip, kit lens et al. see the market place. man does this get expensive or what?!?!?!?

The 20D is a h3ll of a lot faster than the 300D, and has more controls, so give yourself a bit of time to get used to it before you shoot anything important. I've had mine maybe a month and i'm still getting used to some of the controls.

Tell me about it. I've had my 20D for 10 days, and I'm ready to order up the 50mm 1.4 and 70-200L F4. As long as I can send my wife to Austria next year with her chorale she say's I can get anything I want. Wooohooo! :)

Congrats. Upgrading from the Drebel to the 20D is a huge leap and you will be thrilled. The 20D is (IMHO) the best pro-sumer digital SLR on the market. Nothing else comes close.

Man I love this thing. Mind you my d-reb is still a very nice camera. Great feel to this camera. Cant wait to get a grip. LOL!! more $$$

Filled my 2 GB microdrive in 15 minutes at the park with the kids just messing around getting comfortable. Man is this camera quick.

I'm off like Tim said to re-read the manual as things are in different spots than the reb and a few more features. Like Black and White!!

Wow...2 GB's in 15 min? That must be a record...... I got mine almost 3 weeks ago and I just formatted out my 2 Gigs.... You must have had a blast, congrats!
