Harbour Capital is what they call it. Everyone else in the country calls it the windy city. Take your pick! When I drove down to Wellington yesterday it was nice weather, a gentle southerly breeze, just a little cloud, and a nice view!

It was my first real visit to the city, the only other time is when I spent 20 minutes at the airport waiting for the Ansett flight to refuel.

I think I picked a pretty nice day for visiting. It sure was better than sitting at home in Palmerston North in the crap weather. :)

Glad you had good weather for your few hours in the capital.
Remember the time we drove almost 3 hours to Mt Maunganui, to have gale force winds, and everything else coming down on you!

Nice. I really like the composition of # 1. I was in Wellington about 15 years ago, thought it was a very nice city.
