I shot a local Junior College Tourney today. Here are some images from it.

We don't see enough "Artsy" sports image work. It takes creativity and some will like it others won't but gifted folks can make it work very well.

I like your efforts and hope you (and others) will do more. 8)

Big K and Zivnuska,

Thank you. I agree that I find myself just setting the w/b and saturation in images 99% of the time and posting.

Sometimes I find myself saying, hmm I wonder if I could add a preset to it to make it look better. But I usually don't because it's hard to pull that off as most people seem to not like that stuff.

Well it was strobed.. SS isn't freezing the action. Any reason you used 1/200 instead of 1/250 though?

WB looks a little funky in 2 & 3 to me, but it might just be my monitor.

I like 6 a lot.

Matt,

It was by accident. I forgot to lock the 1/250th in and it went into 1/200.

It isn't freezing because the strobes have only a 1/600th T1 which is hurting me. I don't mind the blur, just not the ghosting if there was any.

I don't see the WB being off Matt, though #2 was shot ambient which might causing the weird issues. It took me a while to get it where it is at now as the frame that caught that happen to catch it while it was green on the body and yellow around the other players.

Here is the original unedited image.
