Thats a nice color...
Can't really tell from the photos, but it looks to be a gunmetal/bronze/very dark gray with metal flake type color.
The flake looks a lot like Subarus Java Black Perl (whats on my STi)

Are you completely rebuilding this or just having it repainted? Either way... I like the color. You simply have to have respect for a car that can be tuned to more than 1000 WHP!!!

Jetpilot...There's a fellow by the name of Marko who owns a Supra that made 1520HP to the wheels...and yes it was a supra motor, none of that motor swap crap, he's supposed to be making a little more...It's a full trim supra, and IS driven on the road. He runs a 8.45 because of the supras weight factor. Amazing car! And I am completely rebuilding it. Body, paint, and interior in black. Thnks for the compliments. The color is hard to tell in the pictures but it's called Anthracite.
Dandaman...thanks alot :-)

Holy crap. Didn't know anyone was making THAT kind of power. Keep us updated on the rebuild. I'd like to see pics of the finished product.

That looks like a GREAT paint job. It has to be a good job to take a shot down the side like that. Nice color, too, similar to my 87 RX-7 TII. Can't wait to see it all done.

Took a hit in the nose, and a buddy of mine helped me weld on a new subframe:

Right after I repainted the nose. A little more gray than the Supra I guess.

Couldn't find a T-II hood, but I like it better this way because it's more of a sleeper. Tops out at about 175 mph. It's an absolute rocketship, even faster than my Porsche 928S4 that I unloaded a few years ago. It has an upgraded turbo, ported engine, HKS intercoolor, HKS fuel computer, G-Reddy Profec boost controller (with A/B settings for stock boost vs. race boost), one piece Mazdaspeed exhaust imported from Japan, and about 3 rebuilds in it's 35,000 life because of the excessive boost. This is one of my other vices, fast cars. :)
Luckily, there is a sports car road course opening up 15 minutes from my house, so I'll finally be able to get to use the thing again soon to it's full potential.

I haven't taken a picture of it in a while. It's actually roadworthy again, but I only drive it once in a while. Right now It's up on a trailer covered with snow. I'm hoping to get the whole car repainted professionally this year.
I'm not crazy about the rotary either. Rotary lag combined with turbo lag makes it a pig off the line, but once it gets wound up it's pretty amazing. I'm also having a major problems with cooling now, even when I have it switched to stock boost.
I can't wait to see the Supra done as well. Let's see who can get done first, maybe it will motivate us to finish quicker.

I BET I CAN FINISH FASTER!!! lol :-D
But yes rotaries are laggy, but it must be nice to rev the motor that much! Concerning the heating...Are you running stock exhaust? What bout radiator? a Catback exhaust because the exhaust is so damn restrictive on those things and a nice aftermarket radiator seem to take care of the heating problems they have. Also try an oil cooler.

Ahh yes, MSB is a great color...I've got a buddy with one rolling around here. Although its been done due to the motor being built. I'll see if I can snag some pics.
