a heartbreak loss for the Vikes with Butler putting down a three at the buzzer for the "upset" win.

Wow these are nice Scott. Very good exposure as you can see no noise in the shadows on these. I like these better then your last series. Love #6!

thanks bud. admittedly, I did run them through Noise Ninja but I try to keep my NR as natural as possible. I think I used settings in there of -5/-10/0 lumnance and nothing on color. That tends to keep things from looking platic but gets rid of the most troublesome noise. Appreciate you looking, at the pics (and me shooting the pics :lol:). Chimptastic!!!!

Nice shots Scott. That gym has nice lighting. I would gladly leave the strobes at home for conditions like that.

There was a guy there I know from Sportsshooter that had 4 1600's setup in the catwalks and his stuff turns out beautifully but is a ton of work relative to the benefit in that arena imo.

Yeah, setting up 4 in the catwalks would be a ton of work for limited gain and a whole lot less photos.

If you get a chance you might try renting a 135 f/2 lens to try out. The extra stop being able to shoot at f/2 would really give you some additional options. The fixed focal length can be limiting but you know how that goes from using the 300.

I love the 135 for basketball. It is a great lens. Add an 85 f/1.8 and you can cover just about anything on the floor.

Have a good day.

Have a good day.good call. I sold my 85 just a month or so back and believe it or not, do sue the 300 for stuff downcourt. The 135 would be a beauty for hoops as I find ai do shoot a lot right around that FL. I think I may just try that suggestion out next game. Thanks.
