Two Christmas tries that didn't work

These are pics from two shoots we did with our girls for this Christmas. Neither one really turned out the way we wanted them to. Neither one 'looked right'. My wife and I did learn a lot, though, and we'll try some more next year.

Any suggestions and C&C would be appreciated.

Oh I think the 2nd one looks adorable!

I had to do separate pictures for our cards again this year cuz i couldn't get one with both of them looking at the camera! LOL!

You did a great job!
1st shot: maybe add a vignette to better emphasize the girls.
2nd shot: Awesome!

For #1, you need different color bg. White or black would have been better. Also the crop is not good.
