Canon Battery Charger: Can the charger be used in Europe without an 220V adapter, just get the right plug for the wall and plug it in?

Is this statement true? I don't have to carry my European Adapter for this to work without burning out my charger and battery?

I have model LC-E5. Specs on the back: AC 100-240V 50/60Hz.

Right - the specs will be molded into the charger. Unless it's radically different from any other Canon charger out there, it's dual voltage. If it has the imprints oldvultureface noted, it'll work.
