Austin View Over Colorado River

Having fun with my 50d. The high FPS helps with hand held HDR. Even the 100% crops look superb.

With so much strong sun from so early in the day, HDR really helps. This was taken at around 8am, 17-70 @17mm f16.

HDR tends to flatten an image just a bit. I suspect if you bumped the contrast a little, the shot would be even better than it already is.

Good point. I did not fiddle in PS with this, it is pretty much as is. Bumped up the contrast and I think it added a bit more pop.
