One of my favorite items to photograph are old abandoned homes. A coworker informed me of this gem and I happened to be in the area today so I got a few shots.

I like the sunset and the angle and seeing a home like this always makes me wonder what happened.

Very nice. I like the glow given off by the branches, contrasting the gloom of the dilapidated house.

One little tidbit about this home is that it was located in St. Louis and around the turn of the century (1904) it was floated down the Mississippi river and relocated to its current location in Brazeau Missouri.
