Caught my Jack Russell Terrier (Rocco) trying to take a nap, a rare moment with with this breed of dog. They are a bundle of energy.

I'm pretty sure my cry of "aaaaaawwwwww" just woke up the whole house! LOL!
The dog is beyond precious and I think the image itself is perfect!
Thanks so much for sharing that. :D

You had to go and say PUPPIES!!!
I'm like a mother that way...you know, the ones who can't hold a baby without crying and wanting to have another one. Except I do it with puppies, kittens and well, anything furry I guess. :D I could never be a breader . . . I'd keep them all!
I am however proud to shout from the rooftops that I just hit the two year mark of raising two puppies from the same litter, without crate training. (What the HECK was I thinking!!) There were times that I didn't think I'd make it, but looking over at one of the now 70 pound spotted lumps on my bed, snoring without a care in the world, makes it all worth while. As far as energy levels go . . . I dunno . . . I think my two Dalmation/Pit "pups" could give even a Jack Russell a run for it's money.

I would think so, Dals/Pits both have energy. I got my first Jack about 16 months ago, and I will never have another breed. they are smart and super friendly with kids. I have had a basset hound, and 3 rotweilers also, but the Jacks beat them all.
heres a shot of the female, not a great shot but..... her name is Fiona, but my 7yr old daughter calls her Mini-moo because she has spots like a cow on her back. LOL

I've heard nothing but wonderful things about Jack Russell's and would love to one day have one. The pic of Mini-Moo, and the story, is priceless! ;)
Here's a pic of my two terrors . . . "before & after"
Not formal dog portraits, just catching an opportunity when the actually stand still.

LOL! That's too funny!
I've had many people tell me that they're "intimidating" but you'd really only need to be afraid if you didn't want to share your Cheeseburger, lol.
Other than that, you'd just have to be prepared to rub bellies and get kisses . . . until the cat came along and then they'd have no interest you.
