This summer I purchased a pool boat for the first visit of my 10 month old granddaughter to my home. Unfortunately the boat had not gone through sea trials. During it's first run it listed badly to portside and capsized.
This was the last photo of the captain before she went down with the ship.

My granddaughter was rescued from the deep blue sea, but was certainly not impressed with grandpa's boat.

That it so cute.....#2 is really special, but just that much funnier after the story.
Just a minor point of concern:
Your boat appears to be capsizing to starboard....unless your granddaughter is facing aft. Picky. Picky

The two need to be together, the pouty face in the second one is so much better because of the first. Nice photos.

That shot of the capsize is a classic. And the glum expression of the rescued skipper is better still. I love it!

LOL...That story and the pictures really made me smile. Thanks. Those pictures are great. They definitely need to be kept together and kept with the narrative. That would be a great scrapbook page for her.

LOL!
Of all the hundreds of kiddie photos posted in this forum this is only the second set Iv liked.
Why? They tell a story, and look well thought out :)

hello everyone,
Fortunately my granddaughter was rescued from the deep by the Coast Guard vessel, the S.S. Grandma (My wife) who was patrolling nearby. I did not have to get my camera wet!
