Congratulations to the photographers's that made it this far. You are one step closer to having your image printed in the Third Edition of the P.O.T.N Photo Book!

In this Poll you will find the finalists for the Nature and Landscapes Share. Please review the images before voting. I would like to suggest that you make a list of the ones that you like best before voting. Once you have chosen your favorites narrow those down to 10 images. Then place your votes.

Voters must be members that joined prior to 1 July 2008. Please vote for ONLY 10 images. If you vote for more than 10 images, ALL your votes will be disqualified. We set this number to be fair to all participating members.

Is the "Slideshow" button on the "Nature and Landscapes" gallery working?

I found the button activation point quite a way below the button. Whilst it activates the slideshow, it doesn't actually display any photos.

It's the same for me on both the MacBookPro and the Windoze Compaq Laptop.

Same in the Urban Life.

the slideshow is a smugmug feature (we don't design/control it) so I'm guessing there's some plugin or something missing from your computer to make it not function? (just a guess though). Sorry it's not working for you!

I will say though that smugmug does sometimes error out or slow down so much that it doesn't advance. That's very frustrating.

Just incase anyone else is having the same problem.....

I've traced it to be an issue with Firefox running the Adblock extension. Turn off Adblock and the slideshow runs.

The bc viewed and removed any imagines that looked like they'd not print properly...very few images have been removed.

That's not the final list.

The link you posted show the shots voted for by the POTN general membership. Members of the book committee also participate in a second round of voting. Results of the final voting should be available soon.

One more thought -- The original link to the images in the first post in this thread links to a gallery that has had two images removed from it. If someone was to reference the original public poll results against the images currently displayed in that gallery, the numbers in the poll and the numbers in the gallery may not/will not match up.

I wasn't saying that this was going to be the final list.. Ive been hovering around that site and noticed that some of the albums were empty while, the others already had images..
All the pictures you all took look wonderful and I congratulate everyone of you that made it this far.. I gotta start taking more pictures and try to make it into book 4.
