Nice love the Auto-x. We are in our offseason right now in the Northeast:cry:

I think that you either need to speed up your shutter speed(last resort) or use a tripod? There seams to be too much car blurr? Or have 1 less cup of coffee?

Keep up the shooting.

Here is one of my favorites from this past season. (photobucket compreses everything to the max:( ) I could have used a little slower shutter speed, but i LOVE how clear is face is.

Your photos look exactly like mine. I've been using a Rebel Xti with 70-200mm F4L with the same results. OK, but not quite there. I'm sure that it is that I just need more practice.

Good effort, nice looking speedsensation however I think you should try to use a bit faster shutterspeed to get a bit sharper result.

Yeah I am trying to get at least some blur, I like you shot but it looks like he is standing still and not in motion at all.

There are ways to get static shots (higher shutter speeds) that show something going on. Get them in a hard corner where they're lifting a wheel, or something along those lines. Then, try the same shot with a little lower shutter speed so you get a little wheel blur in there.

thanks eveyone, the only reason I said they are boring, is because in the past never got any comments. the ones I did, people didn't seem to like them very much

I think the original posters photos show nice movement as well as good panning technique. Good job.

I'm not a pro, so i will only comment on what I saw, as a rookie, that distacts me most. In the first shots the cones drive me crazy. seams they all have a cone in the foreground. Now dont rip me, I understand millions of cones, can't help it. But for motion blur, wish I could do this well. keep up the good work.
